Default Very short menstrual cycle- 14 days

Hello! I am looking for someone who has the same situation as I do. My Dr. diagnosed me with "mild PCOS- which will not be a big deal" about a year ago. All of my tests looked normal except I had a very slightly high LH:FSH ratio. He did not do an us or anything excpet a general yearly check-up.
I have a period every 2 weeks. Since March 08 I have bled on CD 15, and again around CD 28-30. I was on BCP for about 3 months in the fall, which helped, but as soon as I stopped taking them I went back to my regular schedule. Before this began I was on Depo for 8 years (ughh..) I go back to my Dr. March 16, as my husband and I are planning to start ttc this summer. Has anyone experienced this? Or do you have any ideas what on earth could be going on?

Is the mid cycle bleeding lighter/shorter than the end of cycle bleeding? Some women have spotting mid cycle when they ovulate and think it's AF when it's not. Have you tried charting at all? I think it would help you figure out what's going on. A really good book on it is Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. HTH.

Yes, I do chart my cycle using fertilityfriend. I do not chart temps, just cycle days. Yes, my mid-cycle bleeding seems to be a tad shorter than my end of cycle bleeding. I have researched ovulation bleeding and do not think this is it. It is a regular amount of bleeding, and still lasts 4-5 days, where my normal af is around 6 days. Also, I began taking vitex about 3 weeks ago but have seen no changes yet. Thanks for your reply!

I was put on birth control in october, and it helped for the first two months. I had not had a period since April. But int the third month i started bleeding on the 14th day, but then stopped. then the next month i started bleeding on the 14th and continued to bleed until the end of the cycle!
