i am newly diagnosed with PCOS and reading like mad everything I can get my hands on. Right now I have an odd symptom - swollen sore (same feeling as being pre-menstrual) breasts that just won't go away. It's been a week now with no relief. I feel pain every time I have to walk down stairs, etc. Has anyone else experienced this? I haven't menstruated in 2 months now (generally I seem to bleed about that often), but there are no cramps, nothing to indicate I am about to get my period- and I have certainly never had sore breasts for this long before...
I ave tis problem also. It did not start until I was about 20. I would not ave a period for monts and it seems like symptoms build up. No cramps, but breasts would be very painful, some moodswins, and soemtimes bloated feelin. Dont know wy. computer keys are messed up sorry for errors.
I have had that same problem. It usually happens for me for about 2 weeks but the other thing I would be sure about is that you are not pregnant. Sometimes that happens. I dont know if you are trying or if that is even a question but I had to say that.

That was what I thought, too. I had painfully sore bbs when I was pregnant with my DD (hurt to go up/down the stairs or driving in the car). I don't remember it as much with my other pregnancies though (of course I needed progesterone with the later ones, so it may be why).

Hi! I've had this promblem as well. There are no symtoms as to when I will AF (no cramps, bloating, etc.) but sore boobs. I mean it is excruciating pain! It starts two weeks before and goes a few days into it. I don't know what to do to prevent it, but if anybody has any ideas please share. Thanks
Thanks for all the responses to my thread. I took 2 pregnancy tests and it seems they are positive. I am worried that it may be a false positive and don't want to get too excited until I can see a doctor in the morning.

A few kind cysters have said that EPO and the EFA's have helped their swollen, painful boobs...and yes it hurts like a mother, you described it perfectly, for me anyway, 2 weeks before and a few days into AF.
exactly.

I really don't feel pregnant...
I did the same thing after getting positive HPTs, it just didn't seem real - any of the times. Let us know what the doctor says.
