Default Very stressed and in need of serious prayer!

There has been a lot riding on my mind recently. My fiance is in the Army and is very likely going to be deployed sometime this summer. He has been away at a month long training session which has kept our communications very irregular. He is stationed in New York while I am in Georgia. We have not seen each other since January 2nd. I am finishing out my junior year of my Bachelor's degree program. I have to do my internship this summer, and while it looks to be a great experience it also looks like it will be a very LONG summer. My classes at school are getting a lot harder as well. I have gotten out of the habit of striving to be healthy. I have gained like 10 pounds. I feel sluggish and depressed. It isn't even so much the weight, it is the fact that I have gained inches also and so I look and feel a lot bigger. Plus I feel guilty about not taking care of myself like I need to.

All in all I am finding myself very unmotivated and unfocused. All I seem to want to do is sit and do nothing. Every part of me seems to be affected right now, and I HATE IT! Please pray that God will help me in this difficult time and that he will work all this out for good just as he promised. Please pray for my fiance, his safety, and well-being.

Thanks for listening to my rant. I had to get it out.

Oh, sounds like you are really burnt out. I used to tell my DH that I felt like I was in the middle of this HUGE circle and everything was going around and around and around, and I didn't know where to start. Now of course I've learned how to be closer with God during those times, but boy it took some time....time which was so hard to find. Are you a worrier at night?? I used to keep myself busy during the day, but at night, I was alone with my thoughts and I either was up all night worry about what would happen, or I'd try to sleep only to feel nervous and depressed.

Heavenly Father, I take the time to pray for this sister. Father she has such burdens on her heart. So many things to be done, so many issues to be settled and on top of that finding the time to spend with the ones she loves. Father, I ask that you would hold her.....I usually tell you that I need to be hugged.....Lord Hug her, let her feel your presence and be safe in your arms. I ask that you would guide her through this "valley" that she's in. That you would speak Boldly to her about what she needs to be done first in her life...give her organization to help her prioritize what things need to be accomplished first. Father, help her understand that she is not alone....That you are here with her....you say in your word, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" Hebrews 13:5 Let her feel this promise you gave to her. You also say, "Therefore I say unto you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink. Nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food? And the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air. For they neither sow nor reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not more value then they? Which of you by worrying can add one hour to your life? " Matthew 6:25-27 Father, Help her not to worry about those things in her life....Give her strength to push through the rough times, and the peace to know that giving those fears to You will take the burden off of her and will allow a clear view of your plans for her. I pray for doors to open that no man can close and to close doors that no man can open where the doors need to be closed. Guide her to know what things she can change, and hold her hand through things she cannot. Finally father, I pray for her fiance`. I pray that you would keep him safe from harm. I pray for travel mercies for the both of them and ask that you would give them both peace and ask that you would keep Him safe under your wing when he's on duty and bring him back home safely. I pray this all in Jesus' mighty name!! AMEN!

You are covered Sister...keep pushing!

Wink

You are so in my thoughts and prayers. Life can be so tough and trying sometimes, but know that God will never give you a mountain that you cannot climb.

By the way, what part of GA do you live in?
