Vestibulectomy Hi Ladies!
I feel like I have been gone for a while, but I am back and need help/advice.
I have PCOS (duh!) and was diagnosed about 6 years ago now. Since then I have also had "vagina problems." By that I mean I have severe pain, inflammation, burning and inflammation/ infection of glands. I have now seen 6 doctors for this stupid problem and no one either a) knows what to do or b) thinks it is a problem.
Well now my 6th doctor is the best doctor I have ever met! That's not to say that I haven't been on a roller coaster with him for the past 2 years. It has now come to the point where we have literally tried every pill, cream, injection, therapy possible and nothing is working.
I am scheduled to have a vestibulectomy in early January and was wondering if anyone has an insight or thoughts into this? I am told he will remove all the tissue and glands from the vaginal opening up to the hymen and will do so from about 2 to 10. OUCH! Thoughts?
I am kinda nervous and worried.
