Thread: Video Montage

    Default Video Montage

Hi all, In memory of my son, I am making a video montage to make ppl more aware of what they can do to possibly prevent stillbirth ans where to get more information.

I need more pictures though. I would like to add pictures of babies that were stillborn, especially if it was due to an umbilical cord accident. Please send me a message if you are interested, because if you have your childs picture added I want to make sure you get the link to the montage.

Thanks in advance and God bless you all ond the babies we have all lost.

I can send you a picture of Eric, who was stillborn in Dec of 2005, but it wasn't because of an umbilical cord accident. We're not entirely sure what happened, but he had birth defects and died from them. I don't know if that's what you're looking for. Either way, I'd love to see it when you're done with it.

lovepotatoe- I am looking for pics of all stillborn babies. I just put especially those that were due to cord accidents because the video montage is basically what i have learned to possibly prevent it from happening. If you would still like your son's picture in it please send me a message with his pic, his name and b-day and any message you would like...I will post the montage in this forum when it is done as a way to raise awareness....My desire is that every pg woman, girl see this so that they know what they can do to try to prevent it(doesnt mean it is going to be prevented every time but if I had this information I believe my son woudl still be alive so I want to pass it on to any and everyone I can).

    liloppy-thank you.

Jakesangel - was it an umbilical cord problem that caused Trey to be stillborn? I have been thinking of you since you posted about your loss.

What information have you found out about prevention? I think that it is wonderful that you are able to create something to help prevent tragedies for others.

I have had a mc but never a sb either. I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss. I do have a girlfriend that had a sb because of a cord accident. She was 36 weeks pg. She did not feel the baby move all day and called her midwife. They told her to come in and they did an u/s and there was no heartbeat. They induced and when he was born his cord was also wrapped so tight that you could not see it.

    Very moving and beautiful!!

And to think, with incompetent cervix, I was breathing a huge sigh of relief to have made it as far as 26 weeks, but with cord accidents.... the worry just gets started. I'm so sorry any of us needs to worry. (((Hugs)))

That was beautifully done. I didn't know UCAs were so prevalent. Unfortunately you hear about all kinds of complications here on SC. As if we haven't been through enough! Thanks for getting the word out!

I knew very little about UCA's until that presentation. Thank you for making us all aware of ways that we can help prevent it.
