I apologize if this has been discussed before - so bear with me.
Has anyone had an unusually strong vinegar odor from their vagina? So strong you felt like a walking vinagrette? I'm not trying to be funny - but this month about a week before AF I noticed an unusually strong vinegar odor. I've noticed a slight vinegar like odor before - not out of the norm for me. But this time it was strong. And it was after a yeast infection - I had taken that prescription pill (can't remember it's name). Just wondered if anyone else has noticed this - and if it's normal. I looked a bit on the web and have had conflicting stories. One said it's normal because you're ovulating. One said it's not normal see a Dr.

PS - it seems to have cleared up now and I'm done with my period - but I've never noticed it before this time.
i get that too before period... ughs ... i am not much help though but you arent alone xo jenn

Hmm- glad I stopped to read this. I am about to (I THINK!!) have my second real af in 6 years (since starting met a few months ago) and have noticed a very strong odour right before af. I was starting to get worried. Glad I am not the only walking vinigrette!!! And, TMI, I am finding a lot of clear discharge right before AF, anyone else?

I get this too. I think our vaginas are just really acidic at this phase in our cycle. My discharge is also very dry. I refer to it as my "pickle jar phase".

i dont get the vinger type odor but a real vitaminie smell. i wonder if its because of all the new meds im on trying to get PG /shrug
