I am sorry about the hairloss.
Well, unfortunately, there are not any vitamins that have been shown to help.
THe medications rogaine (a topical one) and spirinolactone do help. I used androcur at a time when hair loss was coming out at HUGE rates and it stopped it dead in its tracts but I put on 10 pounda... a side effect. But it is a good medication.

Also, apparently massaging the head with oil helps the blood flow and some notice regain. The medication
In PCOS there are cycles of loss and regrowth.
Some people think laser therapy on the scalp helps but I spoke to a medical specialist who said it was not true. None the less, I would try it.

Zinc Zinc Zinc and did I mention Zinc lol.

I had gastric bypass was losing lots of hair due to the dietary habits. My internal endocrinologist pushed two things, finess shampoo (it wont make you grow hair its just because its so gentle) and Zinc. In addition to the zinc in my multi vitamin he said to buy a bottle of it and take 1 of those as well. I can honestly say it made a HUGE difference.
I went from super thick hair to thin stringy hair back to full and bouncy hair. Took me a year to get the regrowth to fill me back out but the zinc really did make me stop losing in clumps!

if you have a gastric bypass, you can become zinc deficinet becasue you bypass where a lot zinc is absorbed. But if you are not deficient, extra zinc won't help... sorry.
