Vitex

Hi ladies,

Just a quick note. I have been taking a combo which contains vitex and have recently discovered I have a major sensitivity from it. I have narrowed it down to vitex. Feeling kind of bummed about it as it seemed so promising but I have alot of sensitivities so I shouldn't be surprised. I am going to see my naturopath to try something else. I am thinking a tea. Probably red raspberry leaf would help as well. Anyway just thought I would throw it your way that there is such a thing as side effects from natural meds. I have been very lucky so far with my gluco/fx and saw palmetto. I love love love them!!! Maybe that is all I need. Time will tell.

I get extremely dizzy, nauseated, and feel extremely anxious. It is very uncomfortable. I know vitex works and is amazing so I wish all of you who can take it the best of luck! Take care.

Don't feel badly. I can't take it either. I went from havin irregular cycles to none at all and it was because of the Vitex. It's not for everyone. I did much better with Red Raspberry Leaf capsules.

This is interesting. I was taking a women's multi with tons of herbs in it (vitex too) and swear it was causing me severe ovarian pain. I went off and am much better now. Bummer, it was a great vitamin.

oh I'm sorry that stinks!! I had taken it previously and was fine. After a week or two I stopped though cause I got lazy. I started back up and I tried a different brand and I broke out in rashes and was itching for days.. I went back to my old brand and was fine.. I can only take exactly 60 drops a day though. I tried to up to by adding 15 more, and started to itch like crazy again.. I realized I can only take the ones that say Standarization process on them and contain alchohol.. Weird stuff. However ever since I have started taking vitex I have been having a weird vibration sensation through my body.. I can even hear my body vibrating when I sleep sometimes.. Its not bothersome much so i'm not worried about it, but these herbs can do weird things to you.

I had that vibrating too...and was really getting lazy as well...so it definately did something to me ......thanks for all your input ladies...it helps...I am feeling alot better now.........
