Does vitex increase prolactin levels?

I did a quick search on "Vitex and prolactin" and found heaps of sites saying that Vitex lowers prolactin levels.

Although I have seen posts that dispute this from others only info I have found has been that it has a lowering/balancing effect on prolactin.

along with Herbal Remedy c-X (Natures Sunshine) 420mg each capsule
C-X Herbal Remedy contains Black Cohosh Root, Licorice Root, Siberian Ginseng Root, Sarsaparilla Root, Squaw Vine Herb, Blessed Thisle Hrb, False Unicorn Root - for 1st half of cycle.

2 capsules daily of each since Aug 02

Plus Natural Progesterone Cream in 2nd half of cycle
