Hi everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!

I've been on metformin since July 2002 (currently 1500mg) and have read several articles that recommend Vitex Agnus Castus for PCOS sufferers. Does anyone have any experience of this? I've been taking 800mg of it twice a day with meals, about 20mins after metformin. Is this safe? Does anyone know exactly what Agnus Castus does? Only thing I could find on the web was that it helps acne, bloating and balances hormones. Also meant to be good for the menopause.

Any help greatly appreciated!

I was on met and Vitex (Agnus Castus) together and my RE said it was OK ( that I should take it with bran... hahaha) Basicaly, that it would not make any difference. BUT, I still decided to continue it until I started Clomid after what I had to stop it because the two (clomid and Vitex don't go togheter). I have just restarted it. Vitex is supposed to help ovulate and help regulate the production of progesterone after ovulation.

Hopefully, this is all true. This is my first cycle of trying.
