My doctor wants to put me on a pill. I'm not overweight and do not have IR problem so he thinks there's no need for metformin. I only have irregular periods and some acne. I started taking vitex today because I heard of its amazing effects on women with PCOS. But now I don't know should I also start taking birth control pill because with BCP I won't ovulate anyways so it will cancell the effects of vitex. I'm not planning to get pregnant yet, so what do you think I should do, take both vitex and BCP or choose one of them ???
Maybe I should just try taking vitex for a few months and see what's gonna happen. I've been on BCP for few years before so I'm thinking about trying some new treatment.

I think you should choose one of them. I suggest you try Vitex for a few months and see if its helping you. I don't think it is a good idea to take BCP and Vitex together.
