I have been taking chasteberry for about 5 weeks now. SInce starting met 2 years ago, af comes every 5-6 weeks and I thought perhaps taking chasteberry would help it get a bit more regular.

ABout three weeks ago I spotted for 6 days and then started spotting again 2days ago. Since being on Met, I have not ever spotted. Still no full af (I think it's been about 6 weeks now). In addition, I seem to have had a headache since I started chasteberry. I often have hormone related headaches, but usually for a few days not a month straight!

I was reading how everyone had such wonderful results from taking chastebrry/vitex and was oh so hopeful!

Anyone have a negative result? Did you keep taking the pills and did it in the end help? How long did it take to get your cycle in tip top shape?

It has been a long time since I took vitex .... actually it was 3 years ago (while ttc #1) and I can tell you that it definitely made things WORSE! I felt sooo "pms-ey" and when I went to the lab my lh:fsh rose from 2:1 to a 3:1!!! I stopped taking it immediately and posted about it on this board!

I think there is another cyster on the board who had a bad experience with vitex as well .... if I am not mistaken it's Ajani (please correct me if I am wrong) .....

I'm wondering if it is raising my blood pressure too. And maybe making my chin hair grow faster?

ACK! I think I need to stop. Too bad I have such a HUGE bottle of the stuff!
