Have started new 14 days of NPC today with higher dose of 1/2 tsp 2 times a day (15mg per 1/8 tsp). So will see how it goes this time round.
In the instuctions that came with the cream it explains how to measure an 1/8 tsp by putting little finger into the jar 1/2 way up to nail - about the size of a garden pea. Which is what I did two times a day first time round = 1/4 tsp daily. Not ideal measuring technique when everyone's fingers are different sizes!, but then don't know if it's poss to get a measuring spoon that small. Went out yesterday to three different supermarkets to find some measuring spoons (the usual sizes)...an easy task so to speak. Could I find any?! Don't know what they use here then to measure things when baking!! Times like these when I wish I was back in the UK, everything's so much easier!
So today using my little finger and a normal tea spoon in my draw I tried to work out how much I need. Looking in the tub there seems to be quite a lot left. Worked out I think I need 3 x little finger dunks to make 1/4 tsp...so maybe last time I used it I was way under the minimum amount (I do have a small little finger ).
Oh the ease of the creams with pumps (though chose this brand as more potent than the ones I found with pumps). Will have to keep searching for measuring spoons!!

Letty - You are sooo welcome, that's what we are here for, supporting each other.
Mrs Hoobery - I think it's good to start charting, you can see how your body is doing, how meds/vitamins/herbs are effecting your temps, and gets you in the habit, for when AF decides to visit. I did it for 3 mo, went on vacation.... messed up my habit, decided to take a break until AF shows, then I am on top of it again.
Dana - Thanks for the encouragement, that's funny.... never thought a doggie would be insync with us.... but the whole insync theory is true, all the girls in my house growing up started the same week.
Snow - The things we go thru, to get our systems regulated, thanks for sharing... I had an extra plastic measuring set, and I can't find it... I was using a plastic spoon, but now I just dip my finger in, and get a dime size amt out, that's what my directions say...
Lindsay - Keep us posted on you blue cohosh experience.
Erin - Keep us posted how your body is doing.
AFM - Day 13 on Progesterone Cream, thinking about going to Day 16... for more Progesterone.. so when I withdraw maybe.. that will help. And picking up Dong Quai in the next couple days... so maybe that will help too.

marking my spot. thanks for the advice. I might just up the dose. But then again, I am feeling slight progesterone side effects starting yesterday. So maybe I'll leave it as is for the next few days when I stop.

I decided to put the kabosh on the cohosh. That tincture was too disgusting for words I'd rather wait a month for AF than have to drink that mess again. I did it a view times and the last time I coughed and it went up my nose... UGH!

Praying For a Soy Joy!! TTC number 2 . Trying with vitex, soy and cinnamon. Throw in a little black and blue cohosh, epo, licorice and dong quai all for good measure.
Has anyone seen AF? She is MIA, if you find her please send her my way. Trying to move on to cycle number 2 of TTC #2
Snow- I had some extra measuring spoons so i was able to use that. If i didnt who knows! lol now i just leave it right next to the NPC
Faith - ...yay weird! i would have never thought a dog could help me out that way! lol
Letty- Im going to my moms for a small bbq..nothing big oh and 1 of my friends has a Bday on Saturday how about you?
Erinn- I think only 1 month i felt those side effects and it was not easy but only happened to me once.
Lindsey- sorry about the yuky tincture...i dont think i could stand any of them...thats why i will do pills oh man and going up your nose..thats sounds like something that would happen to me..ew!

I am like major bloated today... big belly bloat... looking pg or something... reminds me of when i got a provera or prometrium dose.... thinks it's the NPC working?

Faith - keeping my fingers crossed that it is... common AF, help out my friend Faith!!
AFM, this long weekend is all about BDing... I already warned my DH and he didn't seem to mind a bit. : ) We were suppose to go to Key West and share a room with family but when I started counting my CD's I realized that we needed some privacy and I didn't want to loose my window of opportunity this month. So, we are staying home and we are going to watch fire works tomorrow with our niece and nephew and my SIL and her DH. We are planning a relaxing indoors kinda weekeend. "I FEEL WICKED"!!

Dana - are you using Don Quai the whole month like Vitex, or when you start the progesterone... that link about TTC suggests we take to get AF, and then use Vitex... though I won't quit Vitex, but maybe take Don Quai during with the progesterone.... IDK...

Faith - Sounds like AF could be trying to come on over..hoping and praying!!
I am taking Dong Quai the whole month..the only time i read that you can stop is during AF because they say it can cause you to bleed heavier but i didnt stop and I was fine. I havent needed NPC for 2 months. and I dont start it after O because sometimes i spot in between and its hard to tell if something good is going on or if AF is coming and they say that the withdrawal of progesterone can cause a M/C so i figured I would wait a little for AF..test and if i get a BFN then i will start.

hi everyone
I think im going to give up on vitex for a while. Nothing is happening just now, not had af since april. I am feeling and looking so bloated, anyone tried anything to help with the bloating?
Ive also ordered npc so hopefully once i start using that it will make a differance
