Check out swansonvitamins.com, and chasteberry fruit.. same as Vitex, just the swanson brand. it's cheap...

Hi Girls, sorry to butt into this thread but i have a question you might be able to help me with.. ive been taking vitex for about 3weeks now, my herbal doc didnt mention not to take it through Af so i have been taking it every day.. TMI: Im not sure if i have AF, i bled for about an hour on Saturday and have just been heavy spotting since (old blood). Does vitex hold up AF because of its properties??

I do take Vitex through AF ...but Vitex is known to make AF lighter...not that light but just lighter than your normal AF..My thoughts is maybe AF is trying to come on but your body may need more time 3 weeks is soon to see results for most.
If this is not AF not sure what is happening maybe you willl be able to determine on how your next few days are .

dana- Thabks, i think we cross-posted! i get regular Af and actually o'ed 17days ago (with meds)and had a 17day length luteal phase so maybe AF is on her way properely!I was just thinking that maybe vitex was holding it up..maybe it made it a LOT lighter/shorter! ill wait it out over next few days.Thanks for your response girls.

No AF yet. This ticker just automatically reset itsself ... weird. I have been testing every morning, but nothing. I am going to be adding Dong Quai this month.

Praying For a Soy Joy!! TTC number 2 . Trying with vitex, soy and cinnamon. Throw in a little black and blue cohosh, epo, licorice and dong quai all for good measure.
Has anyone seen AF? She is MIA, if you find her please send her my way. Trying to move on to cycle number 2 of TTC #2
Lindsay - I have got the battle of the mind, with do i add dong quai or not.... it says stay out of the sun... and it's summer. investigated gymnema sylvestre, but i haven't found anyone who takes it, maybe that's a sign, except it is in hypponid. I want AF... August will be 2 yrs....

Dana - i decided to let Vitex do it's job first.... i tried Soy, and so far i haven't O'd... so... i will let Vitex run it's course, and when i am serious i will take Soy.

Can I join? I started Vitex along with my Met and concieved in March after being on the Vitex/Met combo for 2 months. Sadly I m/c and I am wating on AF to TTC again. How much Vitex do you girls take and where do you but Don Quai? I am think that I want to try that too.

Melissa - Don Quai can be bought at the same store as you got the Vitex. well... if you girls are going to try it... maybe i will when i start my next month of Vitex. I am really torn because I want to give my system a chance to work, but it's been 3 months...

Jess- Your welcome! Hopefully AF is still coming..ive had some weird AFs or spotting like that it could be Vitex doing something who knows but the way i see it for me I was getting NOTHING at all! so something is better than nothing...maybe i need to do more or take more.
Linds- I liked Don Quai still have some but I stopped because I thought about taking EPO and i dont think they mix but now with what Faith said earlier with it and sun i will definately not be taking it...

Its nice to hear Vitex BFPs thanks for sharing! I take 1200mg but thinking about uping way more ..The Now brand Brandi suggested is like 1600mg twice per day! so I want to try that to compare ..I am currently using the Natures Way brand.
AFM- I got my cinnamon today!! it also has Chonium ( spelling?) but not much like only 100mcg i think.. Faith was it you that said too much Chronium could be bad? The Cinnamon is 1000mg and im going to start with 2000mg per day to see how that goes soo i imaing i will only be taking 200mcg of Chronium.
