Default Vitex/Dong Quai..info PLEASE PLEASE and info on SOY

So today I went to Vitamin world and bought both. Can someone explain the ins and outs of taking this? Someone on here told me to take them during my cycle. Days 1 through 5.

Has this worked for anyone?

Also I would like info on the soy. Reading 34 pages is just something I couldnt get through and understand totally.

I am overweight 5'2, 240lbs. PCOS, I take progesterone to induce AF every month. No O'ing on my own that I know of. I have done SEVERAL rounds of clomid, one round of injections....nothing..I o'd with trigger on the clomid (200mg), but we had to cancel the injections.

Thanks

It all depends on what you want to know. When I was doing the herbal treatment, I did Vitex and Dong Quai on a daily basis throughout my cycle - no stopping on AF either.

Vitex is very gentle and does take some time to work - you should plan to give it at least 3 months to see if it's effective.

Soy can be taken for four days in a row during your cycle (usually CD3-7 or 5-9 - doesn't matter which), and it can compliment the vitex and dong quai.

However, soy - as I can attest to - works on its own as well.

Doing the herbal thing requires patience and willingness to experiment a little bit. If you require progesterone triggers to get AF, you may want to also look into using Natural Progesterone Cream (NPC) as another supplement. That's usually used post-ovulation.
