Hello.
I take vitex, but I did not discover headaches until recently. I have become very aggressive recently about finding a balance in treatment on my own with as little medical assistance as possible. I have been on vitex for a few months, but have added some natural insulin sensitizing medications to my GlucXR recently. Only since I have added the other things have I noticed frequent headaches, general feelings of blah on and off all day. I have also had frequent headaches, While reading The Glucose Revolution, I read about Reactive Hypoglycemia (RHG.) I did some more internet research, and I have many of the following symptoms
trembling and shakiness
sudden sweating
heart palpitations
sweaty palms
overall clamminess
nausea
inner trembling
cold hands and feet
hunger
apprehension
a feeling of mental "cloudiness"
feeling faint
pallor around the mouth
dilated pupils
difficulty concentrating
indecisiveness
mood changes and irritability
mental confusion
anxiety and nervousness
forgetfulness
outbursts of temper
disorientation
If you have some or all of these symptoms 2-5 hours after eating, and you feel and work better after eating, it is very possible that you have hypoglycemia.
Is it possible that you could be hypoglycemic? Hypoglycemia is common in us cysters, and can be controlled by dietary changes. I am obviously not a doctor, I am just trying to help. Here is a website if you would like more info or you could run a search at google for hypoglycemia. http://www.anitaflegg.com/Sept272002.htm
