I just started Vitex my last cycle. When af showed up, she was really light and lasted a week. Usually she has been lasting almost two weeks and is very heavy with cramps and clots. I'm hoping for the same this month if we haven't gotten lucky.

Yes, I have regular cycles (25 to 32 days apart) but do not ovulate, or ovulate late and have a short luteul phase. I'm hoping the Vitex will cause me to o more on time.

Do you know if vitex is any good if you don't ovulate? I know it is meant to be excellent if you have a short luteal phase, but I worry that if it works by upping the LH and you don't ovulate, then it will just encourage more androgens. Because LH only stimulates progesterone production in the second half of the cycle, once you have ovulated, right? but I have heard different things about vitex.

I know i hear different things about vitex. i hear it balances the progesterone.. i dont know its very confusing.. so if my period becomes lighter than heavy i guess that would tell me if its working or not? anyone know?
