Hi,

I have been on vitex for 3 months, after 40 days of starting the vitex , I had spotting for 7 days, ok.. I took it as AF, then no period , dont know whether ovulating or not. I asked my doctor the way to increase the progesterone aggressively. He asked me to use progesterone cream by brand "Natragest", He said use it for 14 days, discontinue for 14 days and agian start using it for 14 days. I am on 6th day of using it.

I have been taking nutrients in IV and b-complex injections and some supplements like vitex, hemotic blood builder by "wise womans herbals" company.

I have couple of questions on this..

1. Can NPC be used along with Vitex?

2. How NPC works, does it give AF after using 14 days.

3. Is there any chance for getting ovulated on being NPC ie. using for 14 days and dicontinuing for 14 days and again using for 14 days, if we continue like this for some months(ofcourse along with vitex), does the hormones get balanced , any experiences from you will be appreciated.

I don't know if vitex can be used with NPC but I personnally don't think they should be used together. You say you've been using vitex for 3 months and now you say you have no period? Do you have high LH levels? Severe PCOS? If so, then stop using vitex and go for the NPC only. By using NPC on a 12 to 26 day cycle...or initially a 5 to 26 cycle, your period will eventually come back. By using NPC on the 12th day of your cycle for 14 days up until the 26th day, you maintain the normal synchronal pattern of what nature intends to do.
