I've heard some people say that they take Vitex only until O. However, I don't have an AF and I'm not an expert at charting so how long should I take Vitex and then stop if I don't know where my cycle starts and ends at this point?

There are alot of ppl of take vitex all of the time regardless of O. I'm one of those ppl. I started the vitex in aug and have had 3 cycles since. I vote for taking it all the time. However, this is just my opinion. Also, you will find more info at the ALTERNATIVE REMEDIES board. HTH

I've taken Vitex in the past also.
I stayed on it for about 3-months with no result.
Some things just don't work for everyone but I wish you all the luck in the world with regulating your cycle.
I'm still waiting for mine and my OB/GYN is going to be putting me on meds in Feb. to see if they will help.
