Anyone else have this happen?

I have been taking Vitex for 8 months and it has caused me to have more regular ovulatory cycles. However this Cycle as of Day 16 I have experienced some light red spotting. Have never had midcycle spotting before and I have definitely not ovulated yet or shown signs of doing so in this cycle yet.

I should mention I have just had a dose of thrush so not sure if this is related or even if the vitex is causing this.

Would love to know if this has happened to anyone else and what it may mean.

Currently taking Vitex 400mg per capsule (Natures Way)
along with Herbal Remedy c-X (Natures Sunshine) 420mg each capsule
C-X Herbal Remedy contains Black Cohosh Root, Licorice Root, Siberian Ginseng Root, Sarsaparilla Root, Squaw Vine Herb, Blessed Thisle Hrb, False Unicorn Root - for 1st half of cycle.

2 capsules daily of each since Aug 02

Plus Natural Progesterone Cream in 2nd half of cycle

I've just had some spotting too (about cd 13) - having been on Vitex for about 6 months, and I've also had some pain around the ovary area.

I can't help you as to why though... I wish I knew.

At least I know I'm not the only one this has happened to.

Spotting appears to have stopped now CD18 - so I will wait and see.

I am wondering if I will still ovulate in this cycle after this happening.
