I finally had a 34 day cycle last month -- that last week of PMS was just hell. I've decided to try vitex to try to shorten my cycles -- do I take it all month long or just before oing or just after oing?? I'd really love to hear any experiences with vitex (good or bad!) thanks babes!!

I just started taking Vitex too. I tried taking it before, but didn't really know what I was doing. I've learned from other posting on this board that you should take it every day Except when AF is here. I take two in the morning, but I think most people take one in the morning and one in the evening. I just can't ever remember to take the one in the evening =) Good Luck!

I take a vitex/wild yam combo one pill twice a day, every day. Hopefully it is working. I think I o'ed so maybe it is. I have been taking it since Feb. It hasn't shortened my cycles that much, but it does take a while for it to normalize you. Good luck.

I ws getting AF every other month when I started taking vitex. Within 2 weeks she started to come regularly at 31 days. I took 2 pills a day, one in the am one in the pm. This went on from feb until may when I got preg.

My OB told me that I would only get preg. with the help of fertility drugs, glad he was wrong.

I took vitex every day except during AF. It can take upto 6 months for vitex to start working. Every body is different. Good luck with it

When I take vitex I take it all month long. It has worked well for me and since I improved my nutrition immensely it works even better. When combined with donq quai I got a 30 day cycle this month.
