Hi I was just wondering what different brands of Vitex is everyone taking?
I've been taking Puritan Pride since Feb 29, 08 at 1600 MG. I know that all brands aren't exactly the same. I just wanted to know if anyone has received a BFP using Puritan Pride. Or what brand aided you in getting your BFP. TIA

I am taking nature's way vitex. No BFP yet though.

Praying For a Soy Joy!! TTC number 2 . Trying with vitex, soy and cinnamon. Throw in a little black and blue cohosh, epo, licorice and dong quai all for good measure.
Has anyone seen AF? She is MIA, if you find her please send her my way. Trying to move on to cycle number 2 of TTC #2
Lindsay & Witchy thanx for your response. Have either of you experiened an unusally long AF? I normally don't spot but this cycle I spotted about 3 days before AF and I've been spotting for 3 days now no flow. It's just really irritating maybe the vitex is just regulating my hormones.

No extremely long AF here, but I think I am going to need to up my dose to get my hormones straight

I take St. Francis Herb Farm - Tota Vita Vitex Combo 45 drops twice a day. I've only been on it for just less than 2 months. I've always had regular cycles in the sense that they come every month but were very heavy and lasted 8 days. Since I've been taking the vitex my cramps haven't been as bad, my period isn't as heavy (no more clotting) and they've been lasting 6-7 days instead of 8.
SGordon - Thanx I guess the Vitex is doing what it's suppose to. When I was on bcp almost 5 yrs ago my AF was very short 3-4 and light w/ hardly any cramping. This natural cycle has been just weird I've been having a little clotting and I've never done this in the past. So I was a little concerned but, then again it could just be old lining. Because my previous cycle which were induced by prometrium just consisted on spotting for 3-4 days (pantyliner only).

Hi I'm new to this board and I just started taking Vitex this week (Nature's Way) 400mg. My cycles are very long, my last one was 58days, this one currently cd37. I have been reading conflicting reports about stopping Vitex after a confermed O. I had a +opk on cd 17, no temp rise, and 2+'s on cd 27 and 28 again no temp rise. SO, in reality this is not a confermed O then right?? I have only been taking this a week and the last 2 days I have been cramping and pmsing like I'm going to start my period, can this be working this soon on such a low dose???

I use Holland & Barrett's own brand (national health food shop chain here in the UK). Been using it 3 months and have had 3 periods in that time. Before, I'd be lucky to have one or two periods a year. This stuff works!
