Default crosspost-I apologize

Hello all. On this holiday of mixed blessings I wanted to post about something. We all had a sad heart this past week. We have ached and asked God why? In the same breathe we thank Him for saving our Manders. I wanted to do something to show that even though I just starting to know Manders that I ached with her.

After thinking about blood donations in the boys' honors or doing a March of Dimes walk in their memory I was at their website and found that baby bracelets can be made in the memory of one lost and money donated to prevent more heartloss.

I created a baby blue blue bracelet for Gavin and Brogan, just one because I wanted to have them together for ever. I then donated money to have it created. A physical band is never created, but I am looking into have something made. Other people may donate to March of Dimes through this bracelet to honor two brave boys that are now in heaven. Your name will be listed on their page. Any donation is accepted. Large amounts are listed, but you can fill in your own amount. The amount you donate is NOT listed.

We love you Manders.

*note*I give permission to crosspost this as I know other threads have been thinking and praying for Manders and Tanner.

We love you too! May God surround you with His angels and give you comfort.

This is just copy and pasted from the October 2007 mommy thread, but I wanted to go ahead and share it with all of you. My heart is just broken into a million pieces right now...

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to post that my husband Phillip and I had a beautiful baby boy angel yesterday. The Lord decided he needed him in Heaven. He was born at 17w4d.

I went into labor at 12:00 am yesterday and had him at 4:55 am. our er experience was horrific and I wont go into alot of detail. I only had to stay in the hospital til 5:00 pm and the I am feeling (physically) ok. Phillip and I are planning a memorial service and we named our little boy Mason Gabriel and he was absolutely perfect and beautiful.

Our nurse in l&d believes it was IC and I do too, I have to see my Dr. in the next two weeks and I will post an update later.

HI Everyone...I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you to everyone who expressed their sympathies to myself and my husband on the loss of our precious boys. I can't believe it's been a week since my life has fallen apart. Tanner and I are holding together, clinging to each other and our faith. At this point, it's all we have. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we try to figure out how to keep getting out of bed every day.

Sweet, Still thinking of you daily. I am so happy to read that you and your husband are clinging to eachother. My husband and I grew in a way I cannot express in words after losing our twins 8 months ago (tomorrow). Continue to hold on to eachother. Somehow the love you share together allows you to go on.

Snoozer, I wrote to you just a moment ago in the oct. board so just wanted to say again in case your uncomfortable to go back there right now that your sweet lil boy Mason is terribly missed by me and I'm sure all that knows you on here. Do as Sweet and I, and probably most have done... hold on to your husband talk to him cry with him, listen to him and grow with him. Somehow someday you I hope you find peace in knowing that Mason was in God's eyes just to perfect for the pain that life on earth brings and that he chose him home early because he was worthy.

xnatzxk,

The hard thing about pregnancy boards is seeing first hand the losses that come with pregnancy. Its natural to be scared especially when someone close in due date loses her baby to something so senseless. Do know that for as common as IC seems here most women never experience such a horrific loss.

For myself the main and nearly only sign I had with my IC was mental. I just had a deep down nagging feeling. It seems to me by reading this board that the nagging feeling is common as a main sign for many on here.

I never felt pain until I had to get my sons head out (he was breech). With my daughter delivery was utterly painless (I did not take any meds for pain).

I did not have contractions so there was no pain in that area or labor. I suppose I must have had them but they were as I said painless) My cervix simply sprung open and my first of twins began to emerge breech.

Some women do get signs like a change in cervical mucous and even pressure. I had a little of each but nothing to warrant a run to the docs. In fact what I felt and my change in mucous was so little that it was probably as my docs stated just normal for mid pregnancy with twins. Either way, normal or not those signs would have never prevented their birth as they happened right before I birthed them.

Perhaps others can tell you other signs I am not aware of but honestly for me it was 99.99% mental and .01% cervical mucous and pressure.

((Snoozer)). I'm so, so sorry. I hate that this happens to anyone. Do whatever you need to do to get through the day.

Nat, I had that nagging feeling, too. In my case, it would have saved Rivi, if my doc hadn't blown me off. Trust your instincts. Often, by the time you have IC symptoms, it's too late. Insist on regular cervical U/S.

I am sorry if this is short, but thank you all so very much for your support and prayers. You will never know just what a help and comfort they really are.

We have planned Mason's memorial service for Friday morning and some of my family is driving down from Dallas.

Thank you all...

Poem for the ladies who have had losses recently

A thousand tiny fireflies
Parading through the night
Illuminate the starless skies
With incandescent light
They are miracles, here on earth
So bold, so strong, so wise
And bring to life a sense of worth
For those who lack great size.

Some of this life’s smaller treasures
Are the ones which matter more
Than the larger joys and pleasures
That we have grown to adore
Volume is not as essential
As the gift that lies inside
Smaller souls with much potential
Who shall never be denied.

A thousand tiny fireflies
Parading through the night
Illuminate the starless skies
With incandescent light
These children, while born premature
Are testaments of worth
Their spirits bold, their futures sure
To ever bless the earth.

How come checking a pregnant womens cervix is not part of every appointment or something like that. If Docs checked womens cervix at all appointments wouldn't alot of babies be saved?? I was just wondering that, anyone know why??
