My Mood: Points: 41,887.65 Bank: 693,274.28 Total Points: 735,161.94 | Some contractions do some don't with this last pregnancy I was haveing pretty good contractions about 4-5 mins apart (about a 56) at 31 weeks and I only dilated 1 more cm but they stopped the labor with trebutaline (Same thing but weaker contractions at 26 weeks with no cervical change other than I was at a two.. but had been for a while).. w/DD #1 I was haveing mild contractions (about a 32 or so) steady and was on mag sulfate for a week before she stuck her knee through my cervix so there was no stopping it then. Also to make you feel a little better, my cousin delvd 9 days after I did in the same hospital.. she was 25 weeks 1 day and everything went very well considering! She was small 1 lbs 11 ozs and 11.5 inches long.. spent 87 days in the NICU and came home with an apnea monitor is all! She is now a healthy happy almost 3 year old!
Im assuming when you say progesterone injections you mean the hydroxyprogesterone caporate? They helped me a lot in my second pregnancy! I still was admitted to the hospital twice for PTL but I think it would have been a lot worse had I not had them at all!
Have your NST's shown any activity?
Oh yea, on the getting home sick.. I remember when I got admitted with DD #1 at 29 weeks and they told me they wanted to keep me there for 5-6 weeks.. ohhhh how long that sounded!

I will tell you bedrest is no fun but so worth it in the end. I was admitted with my twins at 22 weeks and had to stay until delivery which was 34 I had a cervix at 0.5, but had a double stitch cerclage. I also had terbutaline, 17p injections and strict strict bedrest To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. as for the tests to tell you if labor will begin within 2 weeks I had my first at 24 weeks along with 1 at 26 weeks then 30 weeks with 1 negative and 2 positives and made it to 34 weeks so if you do get a positive try not to freak!!

Angels-they did talk about the cerclage but said it was not a good a idea for some reasons how far along iam and how really short my cervix is and the fact that theres twins,so they said it wouldnt be best...well i hope i dont get a positive result not only because of the labor, but i want to atleast be home on bedrest thia is hard enough and to be in the lonely hospital...ehhhhh i dont know, but i will do what i have to do for the sake of these littel girls, ive finally found some names for them, but im always still looking so if u ladies have any suggestions,id like to hear them, and these r the names we have so far Kaylee and Alexis...

My question is I just had an ultra sound in my 18th week if I was having a problem wouldn't they have noticed it then? I am going to call my OB but I really don't know what to say
Thanks for your help

When you feel something don't hesitate to go to the labor and delivery ER. I pray everything goes well and this is just a false alarm. |

(haven't DTD or had internal examination) so I don't know what is going on
