Default Wart remover for skin tags?

I've read somewhere that wart removers work on skin tags. Has anyone tried this? Did it work?

I've started doing it...figure it's worth a try. So far, it's made the skin tag turn dark. I'm hoping eventually shrivel up and fall off (gross)?!?!?!

Never thought of that but I have a lot to get rid of on my neck. Seems like the last 3 yrs they have gotten worse and when I am in a nervous situation I find myself pulling at the little bugers. Then they get all sore.

Think I will head out to Walmart and get some too

My only comment is to keep doing it until the skin tag's entirely gone. Otherwise, you can end up with a weird skin fold. That happened to me, and, now I have to wait to finish the wart remover treatment since I'm breastfeeding!

BTW, I've only heard of this being done with the traditional 12-week wart removers. I don't know if the freeze-off stuff would work. If somebody wants to be the guinea pig, let me know!

I've haven't tried it, but my Derm dabbed one I had under my arm with liquid nitrogen and it worked great! It took a few days for it to completely fall off, but it hasn't come back. I imagine that the freeze-off stuff they have now would work pretty similarly.

I just tie a thin string around them and wait 2-3 days for them to fall off.
I have also found that the more you play with them, the more they grow!!!

So do not touch them!

so how is the wart treatment going? i'm interested... i have a couple of skin tags i'd like to get rid of.

i have a tiny one on my eyelid, but i'm worried it might get larger... any suggestions? i don't think wart remover would be appropriate for such a sensitive area.

I was just looking to find something to get rid of mine. Is this a symptom of PCOS?

I read that bloodroot is an effective eliminator of skin tags, but you have to be very careful with this herb because it can be toxic in large amounts. Kinda worries me about the safety of it, but it's an herb, so at least it's natural.

That sounds interesting, but please be careful about using herbs. Don't forget that most every drug out there has a basis in herbs at some point.

I have tried the bloodroot and it didn't work at all except turn my skin a dark brownish red and make a huge mess!
