I saw Dr. Claudia Fish in Watertown, NY for my PCOS and insulin resistance. She's an endocrinologist.

I thought she was very thorough. We talked about all my PCOS issues and she actually asked to see my stretch marks, my acanthosis nigricans, my excess hair, etc. It was kind of embarassing, but at the same time I was a bit impressed that she wanted to see the true extent of my issues.
The only drawback was that the next two times I went to see her, I was given to her Nurse Practicioner. I've talked to other people who said the same thing . . . after the initial consultation, you often end up seeing the NP. She was nice and helpful too, though. I just can't recall her name.
