Default Wax kits too small :(

Please tell me I'm not the only one who is too furry for a home waxing kit. I went to buy razor blades, and stupidly saw a home waxing kit and decided to try it. Well, the provided huge amount of strips weren't even enough to really defuzz my lower legs. So now I have sore legs, that are still fuzzy.

I REALLY recommend you get a gigi warmer and some gigi wax...they have many types of formulas..I use the lavender wax for my facial hair and then tweeze the ones i miss (my mom helps me with the ones I can't see, like on my jaw, chin, sides. I basically do my whole face: cheeks, upper lip, lower cheeks, sideburns, chin and underchin. The worst thing that has happens to me is some irritation. I STRONGLY recommend you go on an anti-androgen like spiro, it will really help with the upkeep)

I also wax my body hair...the coarse hair gigi is good, the normal kind, and i like the espresso (smells yummy)

I try to wax my legs more than shave (I do lowerlegs, feet, thighs (really hard to get back unless someone helps you...the back of my thighs are hairier than the rest of my thighs..lol
I've waxed my arms a few times and I get a little confused where to stop..i recommend you stop at the shoulder.)

You can buy all the supplies including the warmer, the wax, little and big wooden sticks, and a big roll of muslin from Sally's.

P.S. Be really careful at first...one time I used epil-stop microwaveable wax..I tried to mix it after I took it out of the microwave and it splattered on my left arm and burnt it..now I have "leopard spots" there...hopefully they will fade...I had a 2nd degree burn. DON'T USE MICROWAVEABLE WAX!

[quoteDON'T USE MICROWAVEABLE WAX![/quote]

Oh gosh Arcadia! I just purchased a huge tub of Nair microwavable wax! It claims to work well for shorter body hair as well.

LOL! Too bad I can't eat it or put it in my gas tank!

This will be my first time using it, so I will try to be very careful with heating it up.

Whoa is me!

I don't have a microwave, but I might try the gigi warmer. Is it easy to burn yourself with hot wax? That's what the woman who does my eyebrows uses, but she's a pro and I'm a clutz.

What about using an epilator? It's faster, less messy, and works with shorter hairs...
