Unhappy Waxing and Spironalactone

Hi. I have had PCOS symptoms since middle school, diagnosed in highschool, and currently 21 and still dealing with the same issues. I've tried several diets, been on BCP's on and off and tried several hair removal methods. I've settled with using waxing for a couple of years now. I even having my own waxing materials and have been waxing my own face for a couple of years now as well. I recently had testing done again and while the tests still indicated PCOS the only major problems were the high testosterone levels and low Vitamin D levels. Since these were the only problems my endocrinologists only placed me on Spironolactone to treat hirsutism. It's been two months now and I have seen the hair growth slow down some, but it has made it hard to wax because the hairs are not long enough. Also I've noticed the parts of my face that I wax have become much darker than the rest of my face and extremely bumpy and rough. I am African American. (just to paint a picture) Therefore, after being used to this method I am now looking for a new way to remove the facial hair without scarring, dark spots or bumps. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips. Also any extra information on Spironolactone and your experiences with it will help too. Thanks!
