Am I the only one that gets an infection after oral sex? I had dh convinced for a while, but then he practically begged a few nights ago. I'd been YI and itch free for well over 6 months. I thought, okay.

i don't know if it's a PCOS thing.. a metformin thing.. it's SOMETHING though. I was getting HORRIBLE YI's for about a year.. finally they're gone. All i can say is... cotton panties, sleeping nekkid, washing well in the shower, maybe some sort of OTC bacterial cream every other night?

If you're getting YI's from oral sex, he may need to be treated with antibiotics, or possibly the both of you.

Yes you both may need to be treated.

This happened to me once. DH (then fiance) and I had gone out for an expensive meal. DH had a really sugary dessert. We went after it like weasels when we stumbled home and a few days later I had a YI. When sugar is transferred to the vagina, a yeast party ensues.

Your problem could be something as simple as having him brush his teeth before you DTD. If that doesn't help then I would definitely ask a doctor for advice.
