I saute mine with a blend of butter and olive oil, kosher salt and fresh pepper! I like it when it gets a little on the dark side--yum!

Another good idea is to make a "Marinated Salad". I use a head or two of romaine hearts cut up in small pieces, 1-2 cans of artichokes hearts sliced, 1 can of asparagus sliced, several ripe tomatoes sliced, olive oil, red wine vinegar, and Nature's Seasoning (cheap bottle of mixed seasoning w/ blue cap that has a good bit of celery salt in it). Use whatever combination / amount suits your needs. When I want this for dinner I make it first before the other dishes. Combine all the ingredients and toss well. Put in fridge and let sit. Toss every 15-20 minutes till the rest of dinner is ready. I like the romaine b/c it does not get limp very quickly. In fact this salad is still good the next day for lunch if you have leftovers.

I steam them in the microwave for 5-7 minutes with a little butter and Mrs

I also sautee mine in a frying pan with EVOO, garlic and sea salt. I like mine crispy too. Takes about 5 or 6 minutes, usually. Eat it with chicken, salmon, etc. Very yummy.

I've also broiled it in the oven. Takes about the same time to get the same crispiness. Use same ingredients.

boil it in salted water for just a few minutes(less than 5) and pour out and let sit while I cook other stuff. Then right before I serve everything, I throw them on a George Forman or a griddle with evoo just enough to give it some marks and make it warm and kosher salt sprinkled at the end when I plate it.( i like the texture and flavor) yum

I either fix mine in a cast iron skillet with a little EVOO, minced garlic, and seasalt. Yummy! Another thing you can do is add Cut up fresh asparagus to a omelet with salmon. So good and healthy! (you can use eggbeaters!)
