I am soooooo excited!

We got a call from Artie's GAL (Lawyer assigned by social services) today. There was a routine court review today and the judge asked social services and the GAL why we had not yet finalized. The social service lawyer could not give a good reason and the GAL told the judge that social service was making it harder on Artie and us by dragging things along.

So..... the judge (who is my new best friend) ordered that social services file for adoption within 5 (yes 5) days!!! The judge said we needed to be finalized by October 1st!! The GAL said there is about a one month wait for court but he would try to hurry it along. So..... we will be finalizing within 2 to 4 weeks.

It's about dang time! I am so elated! Artie is my son, I know that... but I want it in writing. I want to know that he is ours forever no matter what.

I just had to share!
