dh and i have been in england for almost a month now. this is the first time i've been online and haven't had to pay by the minute....
we started at a monkey sanctuary in cornwall where i had a job interview, i haven't heard back from them yet. from there we went to penzance/land's end/ porthcurn/ etc., then dartmoor, cheddar, and then we stayed with some family in liverpool for a week. we arrived in london this evening (staying with yet more family).
dh has to go back to the states on the 3rd, and stay there until we get his spouse visa... sniff sniff... hopefully he'll be back soon.
we're hoping i get the job at the monkey sanctuary. if i don't, i'll probably stay in london for a few months, earning some money, and living with my cousin until dh can come back out.
i hope he'll be back soon.

Like these lil' guys? Cute! Just look at those faces! Are they a sanctuary for rescued unwanted pets, or zoos or comfiscated from being illegally imported, perhaps? Just curious! Sorry if it's too many questions! Kathryn
the woollies are descendents of ex pets. the sanctuary was going to participate in a program to reintroduce the woollies back to the wild, but the discovered a virus in one of them (the others had antibodies), so they had to stop that plan, and now they have a non breeding policy. the capuchins are rescued from being pets and one was at a university.
