Well, I can't post much right now, as I'm fighting illness and trying to keep up with a very active 9 1/2 month old. Zach is just such a blessing. He has his moments where he is very cranky, but for the most part he is just a happy baby.
Our trip to Guatemala was longer than expected, but everything worked out and we come home late yesterday.
I want to wish you all the best in your adoptions, and hope to be able to post at least every once in a while.

Congratulations Mom JenJen! Great to hear that Zack is with his parent's now!
Sorry to hear that you are sick - probably the change in weather and surroundings - that often happens to me when I travel.

We stayed at the Radisson. It was a great hotel. For $99 per night we got a breakfast buffet that was great, and a mini suite. They have free internet access too. I would highly recommend them. There was a little market near there that was great to buy typical Guatemalan stuff. You go out the door of the Radisson, to the right, and when you see the Holiday Inn, you take another right. Look to your right, and you will see some little shops in the alley way.
Also, there is a little lady that is carrying her 1 year old baby girl in a pouch, and alot of handmade goods on her head. She is really sweet and speaks good English. If you see her, tell her Jennifer and Greg say hello. She sold us 2 handmade blankets for $75. She was so nice, and waved everyday she saw us out.
We didn't get to do much sightseeing, as we didn't have much money to spare since we had to stay longer than expected. You can get a taxi ride to the Zoo, or to the Artisan market. We drove past both of them, and it looked really cool.

OH- good- Dh put us in the Radisson when we go visit Joel next month!!!!!!!!!!! good to know about the internet there- YIPEE.
All we need to do- according to C.Hope is pay the rest of the fee- OUCH and then wait- they told us today- good case- 3 months from now- bad case- 6 months from NOW!!!!!!!!! better get the room ready
since he has is abandonment decree and no birthmother interviews etc... then it should (KNOCK ON WOOD!!!!!!!) be quicker then longer....

Jen-Duck!!!! I'm so happy for you, that you are going to visit!!! The internet is on the 6th floor (the family floor) If you are able to stay on that floor, you will be with other adopting families. It was so neat to see all the babies coming and going.
Oh, I hope, I hope you are done in 3 months!!!
Keep us posted, and I want to hear about your trip.
