yay, we have an appointment on tuesday to sign the court petition of adoption. we don't expect any problems, as bm has never even asked to meet ds.
i am so exited with this and the move i havent been sleeping much at night. At least ds has been sleeping really well. I really still am in shock how everything seems to be handed to us so easily.
first Brandon joined our family, now dh has a job back home where we have been wanting to return since we got here.
my life is truly so very blessed. i guess it all makes up for having to stay with inlaws while our place here sells. I am so happy ds will get to have a relationship with all his family.
the only bummer is my mom is leaving my step dad, the same weekend we are moving back home. and i am very close with him and his children.
hopefully things will smooth out for them
