It was great except she had a bad reaction to the crowd at the street festival last night and got sick. So we went to a park and had some quiet family time. She seemed to pick up after Dairy Queen.

So we will be taking her out to get shoes for her grade 8 grad. Also taking her to get manicure and pedacure. She has asked us to come to her Cadet formal next weekend and has already bought us tickets to her Grade 8 grad.

On the downside to this. DH's ex is stiring the pot again but I am not going to let that bother me. Please pray for her our DD has to make a decision about wheather or not she wants to see her. DD is concerned that if she says no she wont be able to see her brother who no longer lives with his mother or talk to him via email. She has expressed before that she didn't want to see DH's ex but now is kinda waivering on that. DH's ex is relly ticking off the child worker. She is seeing right through the crap that the EX is pulling. However what is bothering me the most is that my daughter is so torn about this decision that she is getting so upset. We have told her that we support her no matter what she decides but if she is only willing to see her to be able to talk to her brother she is doing it for the wrong reasons.

I am really drained with all of this. So please pray for us. God's will will be done.

April, I', glad to see you back on the msg boards. I will definitely add my prayers to yours regarding the family situation. I'm so happy that your family has grown with the adoption. Our Father in Heaven, in Jesus Christ's name * the Annointed One & His Annoiting *, I pray & thank you for the love, support, wisdom, guidance, peace, and harmony for this family. I thank you for the comfort & confidence of this little girl. I pray & thank you that the ex's & current family work together & not continue to be at odds. I thank you that April's daughter & her brother never lose contact & may their relationship grow despite growing up in 2 separate homes. I thank you for creating a strong, united Christian home for both of these families. God continue to bless them. Amen.
