Weight and AF Questions Back Story: I have always been thin. I was d/x w/ pcos in '99. The last 5-7 years or so, I have stayed around 125 lbs and I am 5'6" tall. I am in the military and with eating well and exercising regularly I have maintained at 125. For the last 16 months, I have been in the process to adopt my son and I quit working out for the military. Since March the adoption hormones (they do exist, similar to pg hormones), took control over my cravings. I believe that due to the stress, I started eating more junk and quit working out. Anyways my weight has crept up to 132-135. This is not a lot, I realize.
However, once I hit about 130 lbs, I have noticed that my period has become more regular. The only other change that happened at that time, was a new girl started working with me. She is on bcp and I started following her cycle pretty closely. Now that we do not work together, for the past 2 months. I have stayed close to regular. Also I am looking to try to loose the extra 7-10 lbs.
So my questions are:
1) Does more weight, help thin pcos girls to stay regular? Or am I just imagining it?
2) Or is it more about the other girl and our cycles, syncing up?
Any ideas or similarities? Thanks!
