Hi Adela,
Thanks for replying. It's so nice to hear about someone who's in the same situation. I, too, really want to get pregnant, so I guess I have to put up with these meds, but it just seems like the doctors need to be aware that they don't have the same effects on thin people as they do on women who are already overweight. Ya know? Maybe I am nuts. But I've never gained weight before like this--so quickly. And I don't think that I'm eating any differently than usual.
Anyway, where are you in this whole process? How long have you been TTC for, and when did you find out you had PCOS? Sorry for all the questions.
This is my story: i found out in February that I had PCOS (not that my doctor really did any tests, but that's what she believes it is since I hardly ever got AF on my own). We've done one cycle on 500 mg. of Met, and 50 mg. Clomid. The doctor said I didn't even ovulate on that cycle. Now, I am awaiting AF, and we'll begin a cycle with the same stuff except for 100 mg. Clomd this time around. Anyway, I am 23 and so is my DH, and we're hopeful that we'll get PG some time soon. Who knows, though. Good luck with ttc!!
