Weight loss?

I have been on Met for six months now and I haven't lost any weight and I went back to the dr today and he gave me avandamet how is that supposed to help? He said that he didn't really know what to do with me bc I was already on the highest dosage. I am exercising and dieting and nothing. Is anyone on a seperate pill to help with the weight?

What dosage are you on for Met? Some drs don't like to go very high, but I have seen some cysters on here taking 2500mg.
Are you doing any exercise? What about your eating? Have you changed anything there?
Met isn't a fix for the weight. You have to do your part too with exercise and a healthy way of eating.

Yes I do exercise. I go to curves three times a week and I also walk a mile outside about two to three times a week. I also watch what I eat. I don't understand what the problem is. I know that its not a miracle pill but I would assume it would help a little and when you see no change from when I was lazy and ate whatever I wanted. It's very depressing.

Quincy- My doc told me to try the south beach diet, ive been on it for a week and i've lost weight already! everything else i tried failed, but this is working! it some how balances out your horomones ect....just try! buy both books and try it! LOL
