Ok,is a sudden weight loss common when starting met??? in april I was 270lb but today on my home scale I was 245lb... I'm going in to my dr office to use their scale to confirm cus I just can't belive my home one. the only thing that has changed in my life is the met (1500 daily)... I haven't really changed my diet or exersize yet & I'm kinda freaked out about this... but very happy

Who cares if met did it !!!!!! Its AWESOME!!!! I think met has that capability, but its always different for different people. I think if I had started met before I even thought about losing weight, I would have been like that also.

I've lost 23lbs. since being upped to 2000mg about 2.5 months ago. Very odd. I'm not sure why or how. I thought last month the nurse read the scale wrong (since I try not to look). So when my doctor freaked out and was so excited I didn't have the heart to tell her "I think the nurse messed up." But I had an appointment 2 days ago and I was down 3 more pounds!!! (& this time I looked!) I literally was in shock. The nurse had to tell me twice to step off the scale... THAT'S A FIRST! I mean I suppose some of it could be water weight... but even so--- HELLO! I'm happy-- and you should be too!
ya met definately helps with that in most cases. I always had trouble losing weight. But since i'm on met i've lost like 10 kgs or something and gone down a dress size, with no effort at all - no dieting or exercise. My gynie told me met regulates the hormones, thus making it easier to lost weight. so yay for us!
