WOW!!!! That's GREAT!

I wish I could say the same, however, I haven't gained any, just didn't lose any either! I did get in a 1 1/2 hr. walk, as well as cleaned up the backyard and mowed it! I went to the Dr. today and she recommended some natural ways to try and boost my attitude up (i.e. make the depression go away) so we will see if that will work.

Tonight, I'm gonna work on some dance workouts if I find the time (spent all day up in Portland to day, and have to go back tomorrow morning, so tomorrow afternoon may work out better for the workouts...)

I'm so happy for you! Your doing a great job, I just gotta get my rear in gear!

If you don't mind me asking... are you seeing a naturopath? Or was the doctor just talking about "weight loss and exercise" to boost your mood? I do hope you find something that works for you.

Did you get the dance workout in last night? I walked at work, and then did an aerobics DVD last night.

Hi! Sorry it took so long to get back in touch! I've been having a CRAZY week!

I'm not seeing a naturopath, just a regular Dr. who wants to try to boost with natural before giving more meds...I really like her so far (only seen her once).

Good news is I'm getting some workouts in, just haven't been able to get on the computer to check in...and now baby is crying..will check in soon!!

Hey! How is the weight loss going? I've been running around so much if I haven't lost weight this week I'll be surprised! This weekend of course is going to be rainy (trying to remind myself why I love the NW right now...LOL)

Eh... last week I jumped right back up to where I was before, and ADDED 0.4lbs. *eye roll* Hopefully this Sunday will be better, because I've tried doubling my execise again this week.

Today is actually a stay home day for a change! I get to do all the fun stuff, like dishes, laundry, toy pickup, etc. My in-laws will be here on Thursday so I have to finish up with the house. So I am changing sheets off the beds, cleaning up the kitchen, getting the girls room picked up and put away.
Sorry to hear you gained! I know it's always the last few pounds that are always the toughest to lose! Then tomorrow night I get to color the easter eggs for Kaitlyn to find. She loves finding things so I figure we can do an inside easter egg hunt (at least that way I won't have to worry about finding any lost eggs over the summer! LOL).

well Saturday turned out to be very nice so we took a 5+ mile walk! got a couple of cook books for lower carbing, looking forward to trying out some new foods! How are you doing?

That's great. Saturday was nice here, too. I'm doing okay. AF came yesterday, so I'm in quite a bit of pain. And I just feel "yucky". But at least I know my body's working. Let me know if you find any really good low carb recipes!

Hi Amanda! Sorry it took so long to get back to you...Been very busy with the in-laws! They are here until Wed. (they got here on the 26th, and will be back again in July). Unfortunately I've also gained about 2 pounds, but I know it's because of the deserts we've been having (we almost never have a desert with dinner except for when company is here). How is the weight loss going?
I've taken a couple of two mile walks or so, but nothing really big. I hope to start again as soon as company leaves.

That's okay. I haven't felt much like keeping up with anybody either. Hope it's going well with the inlaws... only one more day, I guess? I know it's tough to keep up diet and exercise with company, so I hope you get back to it as soon as they leave.

My weight loss is still going excruciatingly slow (about 1/10 pound per week), but at least the scale is going down pretty consistantly. I'm finally going in for allergy testing sometime next week, so I hope and pray that they actually find something, because at least that would be an answer. I'll let you know what I find out.

Hope things go well for you this week.

Can I join too? I love little groups...easier to keep up with. I'll give you a little background on me.
I started more intensive fertility treatments back in January. After four months, we are at a standstill. My doctor feels that I have possibly developed endometrosis and I have to wait for AF to start to schedule my Lap procedure. I just went to a new accupunturist and she told me that my body is in no shape to conceive... I need to lose weight and get healthy. So, while on our forced break, that is what I am going to do.
I can't eat sugar or gluten and will mainly eat protein and veggies...some fruit. I will limit my whole grain intake but stay away from wheat. I have seen an accupressure NAET practioner and I calmed down my candida issue. I have sense incorporated sugar back into my diet and I know it is reaking havic on my reproductive system. So, I am on board for Sunday weigh-ins. I briefly skimmed over your discussion. Do you want to set up activity goals...cardio and strength training?

I am happy to be here!

Sunday check in...Gained two pounds, but the good news is that the in-laws are gone so my eating should return to normal again...Yesterday got HOT so we worked in the garden until it got to hot to work and today is supposed to be nice so we'll take our walk. How is everyone else doing?
