Question weight loss and excess hair!

I'm trying so very hard to lose weight. Will it be worth the effort eventually and help with the excess hair in the end? Or doesn't it work like that? I've already lost over a stone and it hasn't helped at all!!

Yeah, when I lost weight a while ago..my testosterone lvl when back to normal..and he said that should help reduce my excess hair. But I put the weight back on, so don't know if its true.

I lost 50 pounds and unfortunately it didn't help my excess hair or hair loss one bit.

Everyone's body and system is different and it's impossible to know how weight loss will affect your particular symptoms. Some women find it does help.

But even if it doesn't help reduce the hair growth, being a healthy weight will likely reduce testosterone levels and help with insulin resistance.

I made the mistake of thinking that if I got to an ideal weight everything would get better - for some women once the excess hair is there it will not improve without medications and/or permanent hair removal treatments.

I just wanted to provide my experience with this, I don't mean it to sound negative. Losing weight was definitely worth the effort for many other reasons!
