It's been almost a year since I've started my weight loss journey, and all though I've only lost a total of 6 pounds, I've held steady for about 4 months and not gained any more! This has been a huge battle for me; I gained about 25 pounds over the past 2 years. It was really disappointing when the weight stopped coming off, but I now know that it is more important for me to eat healthy and exercise to maintain and prevent gaining as opposed to working strictly for weight loss. It is possible!!! I've found that Weight Watchers has been my saving grace, keeping me accountable for my actions. Before WW, I kept an online journal (
www.thedailyplate.com) but I found that I would cheat myself by adjusting values to make my calories fit for the day. I've learned to do my best and keep going even if I have a bad day.
