weight loss and met

I'm a thin PCO, and do NOT want to lose any weight..So far, I've lost 4 lbs, and am concerned..Does anyone know if metformin is prone to induce weight loss in non IR PCOS patients?

I started the metformin ER a few weeks ago and today just went up to 1,500 mg today. I am on CD 1, and praying to have a regular cycle this month..
