Unhappy Weight loss and PCOS

I don't know about any of you guys, but I'm having such a tough time dealing with my weight. I know the worst thing you can probably do is let it interefere with your life but I can't help it. I used to be really athletic and stopped right around when I hit puberty. I started gaining weight and at first I thought it was just from a lack of physical activity so I started dieting/exercising religiously right around the time I turned 15. Unfortunately things only got worse and I finally got diagnosed with PCOS in February. It's really frustrating for me because I just CANNOT accept the fact that I might not ever lose weight. It's just one of those things that's on my mind wherever I go or whatever I'm doing and it's getting really hard to be positive and stay motivated. I'm really frustrated. I follow the GI diet and run 45 minutes a day...

Of course I have people trying to convince me to stop letting it bother me, but it really seems like they don't understand how frustrating it gets when you're doing everything right and still can't see results. They just don't get it...

I'm wondering if any of you have advice on dealing with this... The power of positive thought doesn't seem to be working too well for me...lol. I just want to lose weight!!!!!! I hate not seeing any results!

hey i know your frustrations all to well, but i'm no where near as motivated as you, so i can kind of cop out and blame it on that! i commend you for sticking to the gi diet! i'd rather chew an old boot than stick to that 24/7!
i guess all i can do is offer encouragement! and let u kno that ur not alone in ur struggle to lose weight!
good luck! and stay positive!!!!!!! (or atleast try!)

Lol. Yeah the diet's a real pain sometimes... Especially when you're out with friends and they seem to have absolutely nothing to worry about. I've been doing it for a long time though so I'm pretty used to it by now...

I just get so annoyed sometimes!!!!!!! I want this to GO AWAY!
