Thought I would start another threat instead of adding to the previous as it is now massive.
How is everyone doing with their weightloss? How much has everyone still go to lose? What is your next target?
Well I am at WW on monday and i am hoping to lose at least 1.5 pounds so I can hit my 2.5 stone mark, it has been a long time coming as after doing so well in the first 2-3 months i have hit a plateau. The only problem is i need to lose another 5.5 stone to get to whether I want to be, another 7.5 to hit WW goal weight. I have always been heavier than other people the same size so 12 stone is my equivalent to 10 stone. Does anyone else have the same problem?
Hope everyone is doing ok
Cazza

I still have about 1 stone to lose. My weightloss slowed right down the last few months and I'm finding it really hard to budge Will update this thread when I get somewhere, these next couple of weeks I'm gonna try SO hard *fingers crossed*

Hi- I have lost a grand total of 4 stone and 1 pound (since my heaviest ever weight) but now I seem to be stuck at this weight and I weighed myself on Sat at a friends house and I was 1 pound heavier than when I last got weighed at the hospital which was 3+ weeks ago!!
I must admit I am really struggling with this diet now I keep pigging out at weekends- I am saintly during the week but come friday night I keep eating chips and puddings.
ARGH HELP I NEED A GOOD KICK UP THE BUM!!!!!

I aparently don't need to loose any weight according to the doctor, but their idea of a healthy wieght compared with mince is a differnet story alltogether!
I am currently 9stone 8pounds so I want to get down to 8 and a half, lossing it slowly but surely!

well i got weighted at weight watchers this morning and have lost 1.5 pounds, which makes 2.5 stone in total.
Only problem is need to lose another 5 stone to be comfortable for myself, more if i want to hit ww target.
Naomi I am too finding really hard at the moment exactly the same as you, but i have to lose at least another stone by the time i go on hols in 7 weeks.
For a bit of motivation i bought all my swim stuff today, and a skirt a size too small, and if i stick to things i should fit them by the time i go, great motivation i think.

I know I have loads of clothes that I cant yet fit into- but thats the last thing I think of when eating rubbish. Im feeling really down about it- I feel like I have wasted a month of this study (Im doing the low carb study) by not sticking to it and I feel how disappointed people will be when I see them- over the last few months every time I see poeple they keep telling me how much weight Ive lost but I havnt lost anything this month
I wish I was skinny and could eat what I wanted when I wanted.

I feel really stuck now too, I'm totally bored of it. I'm desperately trying to find new receipes/ideas, easy ones that don't take ages to prepare. I don't have a full time job anymore so buying the 'special low carb' brands are now out of the question.
Shall we have a group scream to let out all our frustration? lol x

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!
I dont miss chocolate coz I can get low carb chocolate and its ok. But I want chips- from the chip shop with salt and vinegar. And posh crisps- little kettle chips. And I want a new mcdonalds caramel mcflurry! And ice cream!! And yorkshire puddings!! And freshly baked bread!
Sorry everyone!! If anyone has any low carb alternatives to these I would appreciate it!!

I just couldn't do low cards, i contemplated it and i know in the position i am that i should, but i just can't! i have to have chips from the chippy, pasta and rice etc etc if i fancy it.... if i didn't it just wouldn't be worth any of it. I am on weight watchers, as i have probably told you loads of times, but it mean i can have what i want just at a price. The only thing that is getting to me now is chocolate and pizza after a night on the booze (with diet mixer, obviosly). The will power is slowly fading, it has taken me 7 weeks to lose this last 7 pounds, when it only took me 14 to lose 2 stone.
my thoughts go out to you Low Carb girls

hey Cazza!
You are doing amazingly well with your diet! Well done you! Try to keep motivated and take it each day/week at a time - even a lb a week is a great loss in the long run and don't they say that gradual loss is better coz it tends to stay off afterwards.
I'm trying to avoid alcohol as much as possible and am doign the GI so am pretty limited to what to have anyway - but what I have been doing is organising alternative nights out. Rather than always drinking etc i've been getting my friends to go to the cinema or bowling or nights round at eachother's houses, evenings at shopping centres etc which are all so much fun but without the alcohol calories... hey shopping is even exercise what with all that walking, bag carrying and trying on clothes!
I also allow myself to have treats - such as a few spoons of my fellas caramel mcflurry (sorry naomi but they are AMAZING!) so that i dont feel like im missing out all of the time.
Keep positive and drink lots of water to fill you up - downside is i need to pee ALL the time! Im sure my colleagues think i have permanent cystitis coz i go to the loo so often!
Have a fab evening - my fella is making me a healthy stirfry and fruit salad tonight and we are guna get a dvd. fun fun!

good to hear from you again. I tried to keep off the alcohol and have been doing really well until recently. The problem is my downfall is chocolate and wine goes really well with it!
Keep it up and enjoy your DVD

are you managing to stick to your diets and do a bit of exercise?
i just had a bad meeting at work and felt a bit upset so treated myself to a funsize snickers (you know those tiny ones that are like one mouthfull!) which i always keep in my drawer for such occasions - they are okish on the GI thing coz of the nuts in them - crazy... anyway...
Better get back to work and try to avoid the remaining 3 funsize snickers...!!

OK well I think I have found the reason I kept pigging out- found out Im pregnant although its still to be confirmed by the dr.
I will still stick to my low carb diet though as I dont wanna gain loads of weight but I may just increase my daily allowance of carbs.
