Default Weird!

I was standing in my room today talking to my best friend when all of the sudden I started having these strange hot and cold chills. This also happened later in a bookstore. I don't have a fever, and I'm only 19 so this can't be hot flashes. What the heck is wrong with me?

Wow, I'm not sure what could have caused that to happen. Were you dizzy at the time too? It could be a sign that your blood sugar was low. I hope someone else has a better answer for you.

I'd ask the same thing about the dizzyness, I myself find myself experiancing the same thing but it is usually in conjunction with my migraine headaches and my doc said that this is completely normal (as if getting migraine headaches is normal). I don't know how much you know about migraines but most migraines get this symptom that is called an aura, its a ring of light they see around things that serves as a warning that they are going to get a migraine. For me, I don't get aura's just the hot and cold flashes.

Also keep in mind that part of the problem with pcos is that hormones are going crazy in our bodies.... and that alone is the reason that women in menopause have hot flashes, thier hormones are also goin wild.....

HopeNJesus,

I think women with PCOS can have and do have hot flashes. I am 25 yrs old and have experienced them. They don't seem to be all that serious just yet, so maybe this is in fact what u had...
