Hi All,

I've been ttc for about 3 months now, after stopping the pill 6 months ago... my cycles have been anywhere between 32 and 56 days, and I've been getting the chest and face hair and acne... this month my period came on Jan 6th, and I BDced all month, I thought I maybe ovulated on my own because I got twinges on my ovaries at CD 18, and then I started getting twinges again on day 30! Also that day I spotted (just tinted CM)... I did a HPT and it was negative so it wasn't implantation bleeding... what could be going on?

maybe you didn't ovulate at all. some people with pcos will get irregular spotting in the middle of a cycle. or maybe if you did ovulate you're not quite producing quite enough progesterone to fully maintain the lining of your uterus, so you get several days of spotting before AF. that's happened to me before. are you charting BBT's? that could tell you for sure if you're ovulation on your own or not.
