Ok I know this sounds dumb but here I go. (if I cant ask here, then where can I ask, right?) FOr the last 2 weeks I have noticed some sort of mucus when wiping after going to the bathroom. It is clear usually (once was yellowish, after peeing though) and it is kinda like clear clots. You know, like blood clots minus the blood. It is very weird. No odor, no itching, just clots. Anyone have this or know what it is? Should I be worried?

I have it sometimes right befre AF or right after having sex. I also had it when I was pg. My ob said as long as it's not itching & doesn't have an odor it's nothing to worry about. HTH

Yeah I have it too. I have had it since I was put on a certain medicine and then got off and then it started about a year ago!! My dr. said the same thing...as long as you don't notice it besides wiping then it's fine...just really annoying isn't it?!?! Another joy of being a woman! lol

I've had this before.....it seems to be some variation on cervical mucus. Since I've never tried to have kids, I'm a little murky about what the variations on cervical mucus mean in terms of where you are in your cycle, but.......I always notice mid-cycle the really thin stretchy clear mucus, which I think is called egg white cervical mucus. I think it is an indicator that you are ovulating? I dunno, do you still get egg white cervical mucus if you don't ovulate? And also sometimes, I notice the mucus is much thicker, I guess you'd say tighter.
It's no biggie. Just part of being a gurl.

Was it something kind of like a soft grainy something but clear?

It's just cervical mucus, nothing to be concerned about. Right after your period ends you'll normally be dry. Then it is white, creamy consistancy. Just before you ovulate it will be clear & stretchy.

Hi, I also have increased vaginal discharge with a lotiony look and it dries to white in my undewear and breast tenderness. This has only been around for a few weeks, previously the were just normal and small nothing to write home about, now they are bigger and a bit sore. Nipples are a tad bigger as well. The discharge is quite a bit and has a chemical smell sometimes. I am also experiencing mild nausea, increased burping and flatulence. I stopped taking my metformin tablets a week ago to see if it was causing the nausea, burping and flatulence, but that is still persisting. I now have an aversion to tea, and some other things I had no problem with in the past. Please if anyone has ever experienced the above symptoms, please let me know. I am a bit anxious about all this. Thanks
Tiger lily, it has crossed my mind, but I am so afraid of disappointment, that I would rather rule out everything else before going that way. Maybe next week, I will try and muster up courage to buy a hpt.
I just thought it sounded like pregnancy symptoms with: breast tenderness, breasts swollen, nausea, burping, flatulence and adversion to certain foods (tea right now). I hope you get a bfp!
As far as the cervical fluid, mine is currently white (like you described yours like lotion) and I have breast tenderness. But, I'm late in my cycle now (cd-24) so the breast tenderness is probably just PMS symptom. I don't think I ovulated this month, so I don't see me being pregnant. I'm not sure what to say about the chemical smell. Keep us informed. Best of luck!
