Hi, everyone I am currently taking 300mg a day of Wellbutrin and lately it seems it is not enough. Is anyone taking more than 300mg a day along with at least 1000mg of metformin. My endo wants me to work up to 2000mg if my stomach can tolerate it. Are you experiencing any adverse affects do to the increased dosages of each med? If you how do you cope?

Maybe you could ask in the met forum about met dosages/side effects. As for wellbutrin I only took it for a week 'cause it made me a bit manic. In Australia it is prescribed to help you give up smoking and not as an antidep.

Both drugs are in a different class and do different things, so the dosage of one doesn't effect the dosage of the other. I the welbutrin isn't working for you, I would ask about it. Not all anti-d's work for everyone. There may be a different one that would work better. I know many cysters take a stronger amount of met., but I think each are so individual that it's probably hard to say. Hope you can tolerate the stronger dosage of met. if that's what you need.
