Question Wellbutrin SR

Just was wondering if WB SR has really helped anyone here? What side effects did you get if any? Did any of you "switch' from Effexor or Lexapro to Wellbutrin SR? Was it better? Did you notice anything different among either of these? Just a tad concerned about the seizure possibility of Wellbutrin SR, did anyone get a seizure and have to discontinue Wellbiutrin SR?

TIA

WB SR has worked well for me. The chance of seizure is actually not very large unless you are predisposed by certain conditions (eating disorder for example). My doc started me on 150mg the first week, then increased to 300 after that because of the seizure thing. I have had no side effects.

I've been using Wellbutrin SR for hm...probably about 2 years now. I had previously tried Celexa, Prozac, and Effexor. I had sexual side effects with all 3 of them. I haven't had any problems with Wellbutrin. I have never had any seizures either.

How many milagrams were you on for the prozac? Just wondering. Is there like a dosage they stop at, like does it go to high?

I tried and I felt more depressed...almost so that I had a knife in hand - -Just be very careful....One of my friends had the same effect when comin off of WB

I honestly don't remember what my dosage was for Prozac. It was quite a while back. I didn't stay on it for very long, either. Sorry

I have taken many different things, and one thing that I noticed with Wellbutrin was that my nightmares were worse. I have always had nightmares, but I had several nightly on wellbutrin. Probably just a weird me thing though.
